MY FILM MAGAZINE COVER

I have deconstructed my film magazine cover. Please click HERE to view my presentation, which I created using Piktochart.

Below is a collage I have created - showing screenshots of some of my work:

I have finished putting together all the feedback I have gathered whilst constructing my film magazine cover.

Collecting this feedback gives me a better understanding as to what my audience likes and dislikes about the magazine - allowing me to improve aspects of my cover where necessary.

I have finished constructing my film magazine poster, below is the finished product:

Today I made a start on constructing my film magazine cover.
One of the first things I did was add the name of the magazine - which my group and I agreed to be "TopFilm".

From analysing other film magazine, I noticed that many would use an over line. Therefore, I came up with my own and placed it above the title of the magazine. (See pictures below).

Below are collages I made, using BeFunky. They show a few screenshots of things I have included in my magazine poster such as the title of the magazine, the barcode and puffs.

Today I have started planning my film magazine cover. Below is a very rough idea as to what I want my magazine to look like:

Today, I have researched a film magazine - from Empire - in order to gain better knowledge as to what I should include on my film magazine.

  1. Excellent work. A polished product that clearly showcases the film's protagonist, an important aspect of marketing, in high quality image, well framed & posed. Name of film prominent (detail on film includes tagline 'The time is now' & interview with director). Magazine conventions are observed (bold masthead, cover lines, lure, date, bar code). Excellent grasp of layout conventions, with text and image well integrated, (top line images, cover lines justified to edges, red masthead colour picked up by main splash colour). Detailed background genre research (analysis of covers); thoughtful account of drafting process. Emaze presentation on process includes feedback & response to feedback.
