FEEDBACK: SOCIAL MEDIA

Today I have updated my Facebook page (which I am in charge of) for our film trailer, A Question Of Identity. By asking for feedback from followers/ fans I will be able to gain a better understanding as to what our audience likes and dislikes about the trailer.

By making sure I continuously up date posts about our film trailer allows us to promote, distribute and gain valuable feedback from our fans. This allows us to gain a wider target audience for our film.

Below are two collages I have made, using BeFunky. They show screenshots taken from my Facebook page. Almost all of my posts have some sort of rhetorical question included in the text - making fans think about if they like our trailer, the type of shot we have chosen or even the location of our filming. RESEARCH: TRAILER CREDITS

Today I have researched what sort of credits appear at the end of a film trailer. I plan to use this research and include what I have found into my film trailer.

QR CODE

A few days ago I was introduced to a QR Code. The QR Code will be placed at the bottom corner of my poster. The idea is that viewers will be able to quickly scan this QR Code on their phone and then this will immediately direct them to our film trailer. When adding the QR Code to my poster I plan to change the colour of it slightly - making it more dark so that it better blends in to my poster.

By adding this QR code to my poster, this will hopefully attract a bigger audience as the are not only able to see the poster - but also gain direct access to our film trailer when they scan the QR Code.

Here is an example of a film poster, using the QR Code. I particularly like the way they have blended in the QR Code with the main theme colours of the poster.
